Luxembourg language classes in London
This very popular Luxembourg language course is going from strength to strength. Both the 2009-2010 classes and the 2011 beginners' classes were a great success. It is a unique opportunity to learn Lëtzebuergesch, taught by Eddie Bohnert, a native Luxembourger.
The current course started on 8th October 2011. It consists of 30 two-hour sessions, spread over three terms. The lessons take place on Saturday mornings from 10.00 to 12.00, at Rosetta Translation, 47 Fleet Street, London EC4Y 1BJ (above El Vino's Wine Bar.)
The first term runs from 8th October to 10th December 2011, the second term from 14th January to 17th March 2012, and the third term from 24th March to 16th June 2012.
The course is primarily aimed at novices, but is also suitable for those who wish to learn more about the structure, vocabulary and (new) spelling rules of the language. It is ideal for people whose partner hails from the Grand Duchy, the children of Luxembourg émigés, for individuals who want to apply for citizenship, for business people thinking of relocating there, and for Londoners who simply would like to learn more about the Grand Duchy, and perhaps prepare for a holiday there.
It is envisaged that the second and third terms will be suitable for students who have taken last year's beginners' course.
The cost is £140.00 per term, with concessions for some people. Please consult the fees page to see if you qualify.
